The Broadcastr Voice Recorder component uses the flash-kikko project by Diagne Cyril, which is an Actionscript adaptation of Gabriel Bouvigne’s Shine MP3 encoding library created using Adobe Alchemy. The library is distributed under the terms of the GNU LGPL. Broadcastr also uses Maxmind’s GeoIP JavaScript webservice.
